Your TikTok feed is most likely stacked with wild beauty trends and viral dance crazes, but it's a great space to find empowering body-positive content, too. Case in point: one TikToker's inspiring video talking about intimacy as a plus-size person.
The clip, which has 3million views and counting, sees creator Daniela talk through the common insecurities many people feel about their bodies while having sex.
Cya, fatphobia 👋.

"To whoever needs to hear this, they don't care about your dark inner thighs," she says. "They don't care about your dark armpits. Body hair is the least important thing, and honestly if they really do care – they're not grown.
"Your tummy was already known since before ya'll already started – so let loose and just have fun. If ya'll have gotten that far, why are you overthinking if they even think you're hot? Ya'll are literally half-naked.

"Stop overthinking. The most 'awkward and 'ugliest' positions are probably going to feel the best."
Daniela concludes: "And most of all, do things at your own pace and at your own boundaries, and if you need to stop – absolutely stop. There's no need to keep going."
Many viewers have responded to say how much they could relate to the video, and how it gave them the confidence boost they needed. "Omg literally have been nervous about putting myself back out there and this just [perfect]," one wrote. Another added: "The fact that you said dark inner thighs first and that is always the only thing that comes to my mind when I’m about to do stuff. Made me cry."
A further commenter wrote: "Needed this. I'm married but still get insecure about these things no matter how many times he reassures me."
The video also inspired a UK creator, Florence Simpson, to create a similar clip. "Let's talk intimacy in a plus size body," she introduces it. "They know you've got a tummy, they know your arms jiggle, they know your thighs jiggle. And guess what? They still wanna sleep with you. Because that is so hot!"
Can we get an amen?
