Things are looking very sexy when it comes to recent fashion trends, and here to provide beauty backup, is ‘Pantyhose eyeshadow’ which – fyi – you're about to see a whole lot more of.

It follows in the footsteps of the sheer dress trend that the A-listers cannot seem to get over. Everyone from Lizzo to Kendall Jenner is on board and for good reason since it looks phwoar. But more to the point, we love to see our sisters doing it for themselves. So, it was only a matter of time before beauty got in on the action with a little peekaboo moment of its own. Hence, ‘pantyhose eyeshadow’ which offers up a sheer veil of colour, similar to see-through panythose, swept across the lids.

For a sultrier, grungier take on the look, it's best to stick to mattes in deeper shades of black, grey and brown, blended across eyes and diffused out for a 15 denier finish that still lets bare lids peak through. A smudge of sheer shadow along the bottom lash line and a few coats of mascara for definition help to finish the look off perfectly.

This week she unveiled a new launch from her brand, Kylie Cosmetics – then ten-shade Classic Matte eye palette, mixed with neutrals like Cedar (a medium brown), Nude (a cool beige) Shadow (grey) Chocolate (deep brown) and Sable (black). To celebrate, she released shoot images where she paired a grey-brown sheer dress with a matching sheer-smoky pantyhose eyeshadow look.
