A classic updo is a favourite amongst the Hollywood elite when it comes to awards season. But this year, there's been a great deal of modern styles that give the traditional ponytail and bun styles a cool and creative update. Daisy Ridley paired her incredible Chanel dress with an intricate knotted style, while Tina Fey rocked something similar.
It was all about the half-up, half-down 'do - otherwise known as the ' hun' - at the Academy Awards this year. Brie Larson accessoried hers with a gorgeous vintage-looking hair piece, while Alicia Vikander wore hers in a bun style.
Several stars shunned the traditional put-together updo style in favour of a more relaxed 'down-do'. Tousled was the style of the night; Margot Robbie's long-layered down-'do was one of our favourite looks, and we adored Kate Winslet's pretty mermaid-esque locks.
