Nobody Wants This season 3 is top of our wish list after making swift work of the second season on Netflix. Seeing the return of our favourite rabbi Noah and sex podcaster Joanne, the most recent instalment of the rom-com series follows the couple as they work through their relationship and what comes next.
While Noah is grappling with his personal identity and the loss of his professional purpose, Joanne is working through whether she should convert to Judaism and how the two can integrate their family lives with one another.
Needless to say, there's a lot of loose ends we still need tying up in a potential Nobody Wants This season 3, from whether Joanne will formally convert to what Noah's decision to prioritise Joanne means for his role as a rabbi and how the relationship with fare post-honeymoon period. And that's all before we've even figured out what's happening with Morgan and Dr. Andy or Esther and Sasha. Whew.
Clearly, we're all in dire need of Nobody Wants This season 3. Here's what we know so far about what we might be able to expect, including what cast members have said about it. And given that the second season was confirmed just weeks after the first season's release, we're hopeful that there won't be long to wait…
"I think it’s important for women to hear THIS narrative."

Has Nobody Wants This season 3 been confirmed?
Though Nobody Wants This season 3 is yet to be confirmed, we're hopeful that the series will make a return given its success, with the first season of the show holding firm in Netflix's top 10 for almost six weeks and being one of the best-performing comedy series on the streamer in 2024.
And frankly, the world needs more Adam Brody and Kristen Bell content generally, especially given the fact that the second season also saw the introduction of Adam Brody's (actual) wife Leighton Meester as well as Seth Rogen, Alex Karpovsky (Girls) and Arian Moayed (Succession).
Adding more fuel to the fire, Kristen Bell provided a promising clue that we could be getting a third season soon when she revealed in a recent Parade interview that “The writer’s room is working right now. You never know if you’re gonna be able to shoot because that’s way above our pay grade, and they decide what shows are gonna be shot. But the writer’s room is writing it right now. That we know.”
Excellent update, TY for that Kristen.
Back in September 2024 showrunner Erin Foster also said that she wanted to keep the show running for multiple more seasons. "I definitely wrote it with a second or third season in mind, because I got plans for Joanne," she said.
If we're being fair to Netflix, though, season 2 did only arrive on the platform as of 23 October, so in theory there's plenty of time for this to be confirmed over the coming weeks. We live in hope!
Do we have a Nobody Wants This season 3 release date?
While we don't yet have a release date given that Netflix is yet to officially confirm a third season, if we were to assume it would be returning then in line with the release of previous seasons, we'd expect a potential Nobody Wants This season 3 to arrive in a year's time over September or October 2026.
Of course, we'd love to see it come earlier in case anyone from Netflix is listening! 😇
