It's their job to holiday in style, so of course Natasha Oakley and Devin Brugman (AKA A Bikini A Day) have launched an instantly covetable swimwear collection - GUESS x ABAD. We caught up with the girls to find out what's hot in the world of travel...
Devin: We would have to say The Bahamas, just because the water is so unbelievably crystal clear and turquoise. Pretty much any picture you take standing in front of that water, on that white sand, is going to be amazing.
Natasha: We love all the islands in The Bahamas, but Staniel Cay is our favourite. All the surrounding islands there are gorgeous, too, though – you pretty much can’t go wrong with a photo there.
N: Nothing really beats the Amalfi coast in Italy for views; it’s stunning.
D: Our absolute favourite is called the One Eleven in Bali. It’s this hidden sanctuary, tucked away in the centre of Seminyak, one of the main cities.
N: You have your own private villa with a pool and an amazing sound system in there, so you pretty much just want to hang out there all day.
D: For a beach location, it’s pretty simple – we just wear a different bikini every day. The average person takes a couple, but we take about 20. We’re launching our capsule collection with Guess this summer, which we’re really excited about.
D: Paris. It’s just one of the most magical cities in the world. Every time we go there, we love running around the streets, just enjoying the Parisian lifestyle. We stay at the Four Seasons Hotel George V, it’s one of our favourite city hotels in the entire world because it’s the epitome of luxury; you feel like an absolute princess.
D: Well, we don’t! It’s funny, because we actually do often incorporate them somehow. We have some one-pieces in the new collection that we wear as bodysuits – they’re so flattering, and you don’t have to wear a bra with them because they hold you in in all the right places.
D: We’ve got a few things we cannot get on the plane without. One of them is Caudalie Grape Water. If we’re feeling dry mid-flight, we spray it on for some extreme hydration.
N: We probably spray on way more than we should, because it’s so good.
D: Other than that, we always have a ChapStick and a pair of plane socks.
N: We also bring our own silk eye masks. The ones you get on the plane are so rough, and if you’ve had it on for eight hours it feels horrible.
