Megan Thee Stallion is no stranger to some good ol' manifestation. Despite the adversity in her life (losing both of her parents and grandparents, being shot, and having to live through public scrutiny while dealing with heartbreak and betrayal) she has managed to propel herself to superstardom through her musical flow, cadence, beauty and no-BS personality.

While her talent and charisma have played pivotal roles in her colossal success, there's something undeniably magical about her journey. She's a God fearing woman and although she's been open about the power of prayer, she's also been known to speak things into existence. The evidence lies in some old tweets on ‘X’ (formerly known as Twitter) that have recently resurfaced from our manifestation queen.

Throwback tweets may be most celebrities' biggest nightmares (because: cancel culture), but Megan's are having a viral moment because they have aged like a fine wine.

In August 2011, for instance, she tweeted “I LOVE YOU BEYONCE!” (join the queue Meg). Her infectious love for her idol almost foreshadowed the incredible working and personal relationship they would forge years down the line.

A month later, in September 2011, a young Megan Pete tweeted, “Man, I be Jammin that Beyonce :D”. Little did she know that her admiration for Queen Bey would one day lead to a killer collaboration on the record that took over the entirety of the 2020 – ‘Savage Remix’ – and one that would shake the music industry and pop culture to its core.

But it's not just Meg's love for Bey that she's spoken into existence. Perhaps the most telling tweet of them all came back in May 2014 when Megan wrote, “I need a team bc I promise this rap shit gone take off for me.” Bold declaration? Not even close, because for Meg, there is no glass ceiling. On the same day, another user responded with “u rap?”, to which Megan confidently replied, “yea”. It's clear, those three letters carried a world of determination and ambition that she resolutely brought to life.

Her rap career did in fact take off in the most unique and special way, and to a level that only a few managed to achieve – which goes to show the power she holds.

Fast forward 12 years to September 2023, it's the Renaissance Tour final leg in Houston, Texas (Meg and Beyonce's hometown), and Megan Thee Stallion is sharing the NRG Stadium stage with Beyonce, singing and rapping to their record breaking track ‘Savage Remix’. As Megan took the stage, Beyoncé said, “Don’t she make you proud, Houston? She makes me proud.” Meg shouted back “I love you Beyoncé,” completing a truly epic full circle moment.

Megan Thee Stallion has managed to secure a performance alongside arguably the biggest artist in the world, Beyoncé. She's in her hometown's stadium, with a roaring crowd 70,000 fans deep as they chant the words back at her, word for word, mixed in with a feverous echo of ad libs from those same fans, – many who have been there since 2011 – and she's thriving.

Clearly, you need a little bit more than charisma to manifest success into existence, but Megan Thee Stallion has someway, somehow cracked the code? Granted, her journey hasn't necessarily been easy, but it most certainly has been aspirational. She's faced adversity head-on and has managed to create a long-lasting legacy for herself all under the age of 30. In a world that often underestimates Black women, she serves as a great example that resilience, talent and self-belief can shatter glass-ceilings. That, and a couple of wishful thinking tweets of course.
