Lululemon sale announcements are rare, so when they come around, you make haste. No activewear collection is complete without a pair of Lululemon leggings, after all. It's part of my job to test women's gym clothes, and while countless brands stock high-waisted gym leggings which do their job perfectly well, no gym leggings come close to the brand's trusty Align Pants. I adore them.
They're buttery-soft (so much so, that you genuinely don't feel like you're wearing leggings at all), high-waisted and they stay in place for the entirety of your workout. But they're also really rather expensive. A splurge, for sure. Hence why we're shouting from the rooftops that you can pick up a pair for less than £50 in the Lululemon summer sale.

The Lululemon Align leggings are the brand’s most-loved style, and my very favourite of the bunch. Just as comfy so lounging as they are for HIIT, they're made from the brand's stretchiest and softest fabric: Nulu. They're quick-drying, have minimal seams and feel so soft against the skin.
There are a few different Align pant iterations to choose from. The high-rise 25" are in the sale right now – a slightly cropped fit – but you can also get 28 inch (more full-length), 21 inch and 17 inch (finishing just below the knee). As for which colours are reduced? You can choose from pink, purple, black, mint, Orange Soda and a variety of prints.
If running is more your jam, you might opt for the Base Pace high-rise tights, which are reduced from £78 to £49 right now. They have a hidden back pocket for storing your essentials on long runs, plus a continuous drawcord at the waist which is easy to cinch (and won’t get lost in the wash). Made from a fabric called Nulux™, they're super smooth and lightweight – and have no inseam, which means chafing is a thing of the past.

Of course, it's not just Lululemon's yoga pants that are worth shouting about. Their sports bras, cotton underwear, cycling shorts and hoodies are all of the same exceptional quality as the aforementioned. So, if you're in the market for an elevation to another area of your workout wardrobe, you're in luck.
The Align Reversible bra has been designed with yoga in mind, made with the brand's Nulu fabric which is so buttery-soft, it feels weightless. It has a four-way stretch, is sweat-wicking for a dry workout and contains Lycra fibres for stretch and shape retention. What's more, it's reversible, so you get two gym looks in one.
Elsewhere, the Energy Bra is intended for medium-impact workouts – so you can wear it for weight training or spinning as well as yoga and pilates. The fabric behind it is Lululemon's Luxtreme, which is sweat-wicking and with a four-way stretch once more, but this time much cooler to the touch and a little more supportive.

If you prefer attending spin classes in shorts over leggings, the Wunder Train High-Rise Short 6" will be far from a wasted investment.
