With Milan and Paris Fashion Weeks on the horizon, we're curious to see what global trends will emerge from the fray, but if London Fashion Week is anything to go by, there are plenty that are already popping up on our radar. Known to be the “capital of cool," London is most beloved for championing its headline designers like Erdem and Richard Quinn and nurturing new ones like Karoline Vitto and Feben.
This season saw designers big and small put forward some seriously covetable looks, from super-cool peplum silhouettes to super-sexy trousers. Not all of them might be strictly wearable on your daily commute – but some, like the elegant matcha green trend that has dotted the catwalks, are accessible enough we could even start wearing them today.
Below, take a look at the five trends that have, well, sprung out of the London Fashion Week spring/summer 2025 runways – and decide for yourself.
We called it for autumn/winter 2025 — the futuristic babydoll silhouette was a budding trend for this season with Coperni, Valentino and more crafting modern, flirty peplum dresses, but it's clear from the latest LFW catwalks that this trend will continue into spring. We love how Simone Rocha, Yuhan Wang and Marques Almeida put an edgy spin on the pretty shape, wrapping it in pleather or pairing it with a cutout sporty zip-up.

Forget low-waisted jeans. Designers this season challenge you to almost bare it all with plunging, thong-revealing bottoms. The key to nailing this style (if you dare attempt it) is to keep the rest of the look, well, demure. It's certainly one of the most risqué trends out there but hey, as Shakira once sang, the hips don't lie.
Nothing adds a hint of glamour to a look than some exquisite beading – and designers are giving us lots of excuses to get dressed up this season. Huishan Zhang and Richard Quinn both bedazzled gowns and coats alike in swathes of glittery beads, while Ahluwalia sprinkled a few strands of beads throughout her kaleidoscopic collection with the help of jewellery from Pandora.
Brat green is so 2024. Make way for matcha green – its older, more sophisticated sister. It's creamier than emerald or pistachio, but a smidge darker than mint. She's the colour that greets you in the morning when the roasted tea powder blends with your milk of choice, and the brands best known for their elegant ready-to-wear like Erdem, Emilia Wickstead and Tove are drinking it in.
Tassels and frayed edges have been a recurring motif across previous spring/summer collections – but this season, the fringe gets the XXL treatment on the runways. Sashaying across the catwalks at Feben, 16Arlington and Edeline Lee, models wore dresses and knits covered in heavily-layered, full trailing fringe. Now this is the kind of fashion drama we can get behind.
