Kinda Pregnant is Amy Schumer's new Netflix comedy about a woman who is kinda pregnant… but not really. Directed by Tyler Spindel, the film follows Lainey, a New Yorker, who fakes a pregnancy and ends up meeting the man of her dreams on the way.
Although the film has had mixed reviews, it does have one thing in common with the classic rom-coms of yore: its many iconic New York City locations. Upper East Side
What New York comedy would be complete without some moments in the Upper East Side. The stomping ground of Blair Waldorf and Carrie Bradshaw, this swanky part of New York can be spotted in a number of scenes in Kinda Pregnant.
Williamsburg
Scenes set in Lainey's neighborhood were filmed in the colorful streets of Williamsburg — you might even spot a N 9th St sign in the background of a few shots.

Wollman Rink
This historic skating rink in central park was heavily featured in a scene with Schumer and her co-star Will Forte.
Her character will fight back against the male-dominated world of sports.
Central Park
This iconic, sprawling park in the centre of the city also features in the film. You may spot landmarks like Bethesda Terrace, Bow Bridge and Sheep Meadow in the background.
Hudson River
An important scene takes place on a boat travelling along the Hudson River in between New York City and New Jersey.

Filming also took place in trendy Brooklyn, south west of the downtown centre of the city for several scenes, including the scene when Schumer rode a garbarge truck.
Jane's Carousel
Schumer was spotted filming at this famous Brooklyn carousel — which, incidentally, also featured in the recent Past Lives.
