Kim Cattrall joined the likes of Lily Collins, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Camille Razat and Lucas Bravo at the Emily In Paris world premiere on Tuesday 6 December, proving she's a firm friend of the show – whether she's set to join the cast herself or not.
Since she said thanks-but-no-thanks to Sex And The City reboot And Just Like That, fans have set their sights on Kim as a potential addition to Netflix's American-in-Paris series, especially since it features former SATC creator Darren Star and stylist Patricia Field in the credits.
We don't know if Kim's appearance at the premiere is a hint at what's to come or if she was simply in the neighbourhood, but either way, she's keeping schtum.
Wearing a military buttoned jumpsuit with a statement Philip Treacy hat (a very Carrie Bradshaw move, we have to say), she wrote on Instagram after the event: “Thanks @starmandarren and @netflix for such a fun opening in Paris with ‘Emily in Paris’.”
Of course, fans in the comment section shared numerous theories about whether we'll see Kim Cattrall – or even Samantha Jones – in Emily In Paris.

“OMG are you going to be in the show??” one replied, and another asked: “Are you joining the cast??”
Over on the pink carpet at the premiere, show creator Darren did share that we won't be getting a Kim Cattrall cameo in the much-awaited series 3 of the show – but watch this space.
When asked whether she might join the cast, he told Variety: “It’s a wonderful idea. Not at the moment but it would be so much fun to see that happening.”
“Emily ultimately really values her friendships.”

Either way, Kim has always been very honest about choosing her roles carefully – and spoke at the recent GLAMOUR Women Of The Year Awards about how powerful that had been for her.
Collecting her Screen Icon award, she told the crowd: “This is what happens when you go where you're celebrated and not where you're tolerated.”
