They say the apple doesn't fall far from the tree and this photo of Kendall Jenner is all the proof you need.
Taken back in 2017 during one of Kendall Jenner's first fashion week shows, the model looks the spitting image of her mother, Kris Jenner.
The photo, which was captured at Tom Ford's New York Fashion Week and shows Kendall rocking her mother's signature hairstyle, is going viral on social media after resurfacing.
Speaking at the time, Kendall said: “I never really thought about it until now but I do think I look a lot like my mother.”
Obviously Kendall's hairstyle for the show was an optical illusion and was created by celebrity hairstylist Orlando Pita, who told Vogue at the time that he'd twisted the models' hair up, pinning it, and using a mega dose of his line's Climate Change Humidity Blocking Hairspray to create the texture.
The hairstylist said the intended effect was to show that anyone can pull off a pixie cut - and Kendall is all the proof we need. People also commented on how similar Gigi Hadid, who also walked in the show, looks to her mother Yolanda.
Fast-forward to the present day for Kendall and it hasn't been the best week for the star, who has faced significant backlash for dressing up as a sexy Jessie from Toy Story for Halloween.
In a series of posts shared on her Instagram, the model's Pixar-after-dark getup included bottom-baring chaps, oversized white buttons and doll-like pigtails — she even included Andy's iconic wallpaper in the background of the pics she posted to Instagram. “Well aren’t you just the sweetest space toy,” Jenner captioned her post, which is, of course, a quote from the Disney film.
Jenner also posted her Halloween costume to her IG Stories, where she swapped the long-sleeved crop for an even tinier kerchief top and ditched the red wig in favour of her own hair in two braids. Nothing ruins a good Halloween party like a sweaty, itchy scalp, after all.
