If sci-fi is your thang, you'd better start getting exciting about Jupiter Ascending, and not just because of the serious eye candy among its eclectic cast. Set in a distant dystopia, where humans are near the bottom of the pecking order, Mila Kunis stars as a destitute young woman (Jupiter) targeted by the Queen of the Universe (great title BTW), because she threatens her power.
Only when Caine (Channing Tatum), a genetically engineered ex-military hunter, arrives on Earth to track her down does Jupiter begin to glimpse the fate that has been waiting for her all along-her genetic signature marks her as next in line for an extraordinary inheritance that could alter the balance of the cosmos.
Jupiter Ascending hits cinemas 25 July 2014.
