Last night H&M debuted their SS17 collection during Paris Fashion Week with a little help from Bella and Gigi Hadid, Glamour Beauty Festival speaker Winnie Harlow and Amber Valetta.
The collection - which is the company's first "see now, buy now" line - takes its cue from the "power of love, grace [and] strength". Romantic silhouettes (think ruffles, relaxed shapes and voluminous silk) were juxtaposed with jolts of bright colours, strict monochrome palettes and clean cut knitwear.
Talking of why H&M took this direction, the company's Head of Design and Creative Director, Pernilla Wohlfahrt, commented: âWith this collection we want to send a global message of love. It feels like now, more than ever, we all need positive feelings and thoughts in our lives."
Naturally the FROW was awash with big names including Nicki Minaj, Alexa Chung, Lucky Blue Smith and ClĂ©mence PoĂ©sy. Following the show, The Weeknd took to the stage to perform Starboy, Canât Feel My Face and I Feel It Coming. We wonder how Bella felt having to face her ex after that Selena Gomez situation. This isn't the first time the pair's industries have collided - the ex-couple also both took part in the Victoria's Secret fashion show back in November.
