With so much buzz about the Californian sisters in the past year, it's hard to believe HAIM's debut album is only just about to drop (Days Are Gone is out 30 September).
Since they last played the iTunes Festival, supporting Ellie Goulding in 2012, Danielle, Este and Alana have built up a huge following of devoted fans; more than a few old-school 'We <3 You' posters could be seen in the very excited audience as they waited for HAIM to take the stage.
When they did - and the first few, unmistakeable notes of Falling shook the Roundhouse - hundreds of delighted hipsters surged forward and got their groove on; the "everyone-join-in" hand clap section in the bridge went down particularly well, as did Danielle's searing guitar solo.
The dreamy three-part harmonies of crowd-pleaser Waiting sounded just as good live (thanks to the brilliant acoustics at the Roundhouse).
With the crowd warmed up, HAIM then went for a brave, unapologetically rocky cover of Fleetwood Mac's Oh Well, with screaming guitars and a head-banging performance on the maracas by Alana.
Still panting for breath, HAIM shifted gear and gathered together at the front of the stage for a stripped back version of Honey And I, a track from the impending album.
Two more tracks from the new album, Go Slow and Send Me Down followed - featuring plenty of Estes' glorious 'bass face' - and gave a sense of the sun-soaked, perfectly crafted indie-pop gems we can expect from Days Are Gone.
Spotting someone in the crowd eating Jelly Tots, Alana jumped down to get the packet, saying she needed some sugar, then started a debate with the audience as to whether Percy Pigs were the best sweet ever (The consensus: yes they are). That settled, they went straight in to the brilliant Don't Save Me.
The final song, Forever, was instantly recognisable, and the venue erupted accordingly. Beer was sent flying as thousands of people jump up and down to (arguably) the anthem of summer 2013.
For the encore, they played Better Off and Let Me Go, before Alana jumped into the audience for a spot of crowd surfing.
Haim were supported by sets from Dan Croll, Bipolar Sunshine and Gabrielle Aplin.
The iTunes Festival continues tonight with a headline set from Jessie J.
