If only A$AP Rocky could throw parties every Friday night.

The rapper launched his Guess collection at Selfridges last Friday with the most nostalgic party ever. To fit in with the theme of his 90s-themed collaboration, he recreated what looked like our teenage bedroom circa 1996. The walls were covered with familiar posters of our favourite old school heartthrobs (it's nice to know A$AP loved Leo DiCaprio as much as we did), as well as film and album covers, from 10 Things I Hate About You to Sister Act 2.

There was a popcorn vendor, Patrón tequila served in plastic cups, a photobooth (who doesn't love a photobooth on a night out?) and well-loved looking sofas which we all huddled onto before playing Nintendo.

A$AP then hosted an intimate set on stage before jumping into the audience and dancing around with the rest of us (albeit flanked by a seriously scary-looking bodyguard). The bass was so loud the walls of Selfridges carpark shook. Then we sat down to play more Nintendo. It was, in short, excellent.

A$AP gives good parties. Fact.

The musician, who has style swagger like no other, has teamed up with the label's founder, Paul Marciano, to create a collection inspired by its 90s classics - think slouchy logo T-shirts, denim jackets and parkas, as well as acid wash crop tops, denim overalls and distressed cut offs. Think 90s Chloe Sevigny with an added urban edge.

The Guess logo has been changed to GUE$$ throughout in honour of the label's collaborator, naturally. Rocky also stars in the collection campaign. This is a go-to for anyone who wants to tap into this season's 90s revival without looking like a drunk Spice Girl.

The collection is available from 11 March, when A$AP Rocky will host a meet and greet in Selfridges where you can discuss style with the man himself.
