Lea Michele has released a new single about Cory Monteith, her boyfriend who sadly passed away last summer.
If You Say, taken from her album Louder, is about the last words Cory Monteith said to Lea before he died.
Listen to the song, and prepare to feel very emotional (scroll down for the lyrics)...
These are the lyrics to the song…
It's been seven whole days, seven whole days
Since you paralysed me
Seven whole days, seven whole days
Since you lost your fight
And I can't get the last words that you said
Can't get those words out of my head
Seven whole days, seven whole days and four words
And I can't get away from the burning pain, I lie awake.
And the fallen hero haunts my thoughts
How could you leave me this way
It's been seven whole days without your embrace
I wanna see your face
I got some things to say
Was just a week ago
You said I love you girl
I said I love you more
And a breath, a pause, you said, if you say so
If you say so
If you say so
It's been seven whole days, seven whole days
Since I heard the phone ring
Seven whole days, seven whole days
Since I heard your voice
And I can't get the last words that you said
Can't get those words out of my head
It's been seven whole days, seven whole days of pure hurt
And I can't get away from the burning pain a light you wake
And the fallen hero haunts my thoughts
How could you leave me this way
It's been seven whole days without your embrace
I wanna see your face
I got some things to say
Was just a week ago
You said I love you girl
I said I love you more
And a breath, a pause, you said, if you say so
If you say so
If you say so
I can't believe it's true
I keep looking for you
I check my phone and wait to hear from you in a crowded room
The joker is so cruel
And now I'll never know if all I've been told is just a lie so false
I thought we would grow old
Mirrors in the smoke
Left me here choke
It's been seven whole days without your embrace
I wanna see your face
I got some things to say
Was just a week ago
You said I love you girl
I said I love you more
And a breath, a pause, you said, if you say so
If you say so
If you say so
Lea Michele has revealed the track she recorded for her late boyfriend Cory Monteith.
You're Mine, taken from her upcoming album Louder, was co-written with Sia, and is Lea's personal tribute to the former Glee actor:
"It makes me so happy, this song. It makes me think so much of Cory. It was ours. When I think of him, I play this", she said.
The lyrics include touching tributes to the couple's relationship, including:
"I told you all my dreams and fears And you looked at me and your eyes filled with tears And you said those three words, I've been waiting for You became a part of me"
Michele has previously spoken about how Cory, who was in his own band, Bonnie Dune, encouraged her with her music career, giving her notes on tracks and telling her "You're going to be a popstar! What are we going to do? Are we going to, like, go on the road?'" when he listened to her songs. Bonnie Dune also released some of the music Cory worked on in the band last week.

Scroll down to watch Lea Michele's hotly anticipated new video for her new single, Cannonball. We think you'll agree that she looks pretty spectacular.
Directed by Robert Hales, the clip sees the Glee star in what looks like a derelict house. It's not what you would expect for a star's first music video as the backdrop is very simple, just featuring Lea singing.
It's not until the end of the song that we see the singer next to a sparkling background, in a room full of mirrors and colourful lights.
Much more Rachel Berry-esque.
Lea recently spoke to MTV News about the anthem, saying how it helped her to deal with the death of her boyfriend Cory Monteith, earlier this year.
"The minute I heard the song, I had a physical reaction to it. For me, it's been my strength," she said of the track, "I listen to it every day. I know it was brought into my life for a reason. It's really been so helpful for me and I hope it's the same for other people as it's been for me."
Cannonball was co-written by Sia and Benny Blanco and produced by the Norwegian hit-making duo Stargate, and will feature on her debut album Louder, due to be released in March.
