The Glastonbury 2025 headliners may have been confirmed a while back, but we predict a few more surprises in store over the legendary festival weekend when it comes to secret sets and acts.

Most intriguingly of all, a slot named Patchwork on Saturday night at 6:15pm has caused much speculation. Who is Patchwork? What band or performer could be masquerading under this name?

When the Foo Fighters played a secret set back in 2023, they also were billed under a secret name, Churnups.

Here's the most promising things we've heard when it comes to Glastonbury rumours and 2025 secret sets.

Glastonbury headliners for 2025

The 1975 are headlining on Friday, with Neil Young playing Saturday night's big slot and Olivia Rodrigo performing the coveted slot on Sunday night.

Sir Rod Stewart will perform during the Sunday Legend slot, filled last year by the iconic Shania Twain.

Loyle Carner will headline The Other Stage on Friday, with Charli XCX performing there on Saturday night and The Prodigy returning to headline on Sunday.

Glastonbury rumours and potential secret sets on our radar for 2025:

Pulp

Britpop band Pulp are strong contenders for the Patchwork slot, with Twitter account SecretGlasto sharing a video of a patchwork quilt before cutting to clips of the band and lead singer Jarvis Cocker himself.

Having recently released a new album, More, and wrapping up a string of UK tour dates, would it not be the perfect time for the legends who brought us Common People to make a Glasto appearance?

Haim

Similar to Pulp, Haim have just released a brand new album I Quit, and are going to be in the UK over this weekend due to a Margate tour date set for Friday. Surely the stars are aligning?

BBC Radio 2's Jo Whiley asked them if they were free on Glastonbury weekend and they responded: "Well we are playing Margate a couple of days before, so we will be in the area.. We love the Park Stage. We played there the first time we came to Glastonbury, it felt like a movie. We were like, how did we get here?

"You’ll never forget the first time you step onto the farm. It’s the most insane feeling we will ever have."

They also really could be Patchwork, with fans pointing to a book titled Patchwork written by an author named Sylvia Haim as a clue, as well as a picture of the band being taken of the band back in April with the caption “HAIM stitch a patchwork quilt of rich tones, textures and colours to explore on Women in Music Pt. III”.

Paramore

After opening for Taylor Swift on the entire UK and European leg of her Eras tour, could Paramore be coming to Glastonbury? They never have before, so this could be a first.

Lead singer Hayley Williams also wasn't able to embark on her solo tour due to Covid, so maybe she's gracing the Glasto stage alone? A Kerrang DJ accidentally confirmed the band in a lineup announcement, so you never know.

Lewis Capaldi

After breaking all of our hearts on the Pyramid Stage back in 2023 when he broke down in tears, Lewis took a break from the spotlight shortly after to deal with vocal issues and a flare up of Tourette's.

This year, he is widely thought to be a secret set, performing after Alanis Morrisette on Saturday.

Robbie Williams

After a victorious Hyde Park performance last year and an unforgettable night at the Emirates as recently as this month, could Robbie be secretly returning to Glasto?

Fans think so, after the official Robbie Williams Facebook page changed its profile picture to an iconic picture of him at Glastonbury in the 90s, complete with bleach blonde hair, a missing tooth and a red tracksuit.

Plus Robbie seems to have a rather convenient gap in his tour from 25 June to 28 June… Coincidence?

Sam Fender

The much-loved Geordie singer could well be making an appearance, as he has wrapped up his stadium tour dates in London and Newcastle earlier this month and is due to headline the British Grand Prix Opening Concert the week after Glasto.

Plus, his new album People Watching is an absolute banger. The singer has called Glastonbury “the best party on the planet”, so maybe we'll see him there this year.
