As anyone who has suffered with acne knows only too well, it can cause a plethora of problems from irritated skin to deeper-rooted emotional issues.

Luckily for those who suffer with spots, the internet can be a goldmine of acne-busting tips and tricks with forums full of expert advice, natural solutions and spot-fighting product recommendations.

The latest success story comes from Reddit, where one user, Iiwinterii, shared her simple 3-step solution for banishing acne.

Iiwinterii shared side-by-side photos of her skin before and after using some trusty spot-banishing solutions and the internet couldn't quite believe it.

The first photo shows her with what she describes as "an irritated, red, and broken-out face" next to a photo of her with completely clear skin.

So what's her secret? According to Marie Claire, who interviewed her, she used three products from First Aid.

She told the website: "I use the Facial Radiance Pads, Ultra Repair Cream, and the Pure Skin Face Cleanser. Sometimes, I would use coconut oil in place of the moisturiser, and it’s worked good so far for me!

"I use all three products before my makeup routine and then after I take my makeup off at night. I noticed my acne going down probably a couple months."

The £14 cleanser gently cleanses the skin, removes surface oils, makeup, dirt and grime and is infused with a powerful botanical antioxidant blend that works hard to scavenger free radicals. The £22 pads exfoliate, tone and brighten without irritation, while the £22 repair cream provides immediate relief and visible improvement to distressed, dry skin due to harsh winter weather or aggressive cosmetic treatments.

Well, these before and after photos are proof enough for us...
