Glastonbury is all over for another year (or two, technically), but that doesn't mean that we're anywhere near to getting over the serious energy and vibes that the women performing at the festival brought.

While stats for this year aren't ready yet, we know that in 2024 over 52% of the announced lineup includes female and non-binary artists, with the fight for less male-dominated lineups raging on for many years to get us to this point.

This year saw some serious wins and huge moments for female acts and headliners at Glastonbury 2025 – from CMAT's meteoric performance to Gracie Abrams' shout out from Charli XCX and Alanis Morissette's ode to female anger.

Here's GLAMOUR's round up of female triumphs at this year's Glastonbury.

As well as smashing her own set at The Other Stage, Gracie received a secondary honour from Charli XCX herself revealed her Glastonbury 2025 ‘Apple girl’ to be the That's So True singer herself.

Gracie flawlessly performed a TikTok dance known as the Apple dance, securing her place in Glastonbury 2025 history twofold.

Also, lest we forget the viral video of her on Paul Mescal's shoulders in a Glastonbury crowd.

GLAMOUR cover star CMAT arguably stole the entire show/weekend with not one, but two Glastonbury sets. After a glorious set on the Pyramid Stage on the first day of 2025, she wowed us all over again at a not-so-secret set at the BBC Introducing Stage.

Fresh off touring with Sam Fender, many have said the Irish singer has hit superstar status, and we don't disagree.

An incredible feat for the singer – Doechii's first ever performance at Glastonbury was a Saturday night headline slot. And boy, did she own it. Highlights include the Grammy winner playfully referencing her own Met Gala backlash for her team calling for more umbrellas to shield her from the paparazzi. Her fab track Anxiety also got a garage rock makeover, which we loved.

Alanis Morissette

Bringing female anger to the Pyramid Stage in the most victorious of ways, Alanis Morissette gave audiences watching from Worthy Farm and at home the perfect space to honour their rage. Highlights include (of course) You Oughta Know, Ironic, as well as slower, life-affirming and oh-so-cool One Hand In My Pocket.

The Gen Z TikTok jazz star joined Noah Kahan on stage to sing Call Your Mom. Kahan introduced her to the stage, calling her “one of the greatest voices I’ve ever heard”.

We would be remiss not to mention the moment Charli XCX burnt a Brat flag on stage. The woman knows how to make a statement. Luckily, this didn't meant that Brat tracks were eliminated from her setlist, as she played Von dutch, 360 and Girl.

Haim

Reliably providing us with a gorgeous actually-fairly-secret stage on the Park stage, Haim have spoken out before about how much they love playing Glastonbury, and it honestly looks like it's a home from home for them at this point. After playing Margate's Dreamland on Friday, they dropped in for a show centred around their new album I quit, quite delightfully a break up album.

Olivia Rodrigo

22-year-old Olivia may have got heat from some critics, suggesting that The Prodigy should've got the Pyramid Sunday headliner slot, but she proved every single (arguably misogynistic and ageist) hater wrong with her incredible set. She even dueted with The Cure legend Robert Smith, singing classic Cure tracks Friday I'm In Love and Just Like Heaven.

Brandi Carlile

Kicking off Saturday's proceedings, US country singer-songwriter Brandi was curious as to what the Glastonbury hype was all about and she definitely found out. It's quite a UK festival baptism of fire for the performer, who recently collaborated on an album with Elton John.

Joy Crookes

On top of her own debut Glastonbury set on the Pyramid Stage, neo-soul popstar Joy Crookes rocked up to viral DJ AG's set too. You can read her recent cover interview with GLAMOUR here.

Lorde

Another delightful Glastonbury 2025 “secret set” saw Lorde play on the first day of the festival incidentally the day her new album Virgin dropped and a new musical era for us all began. She played the latest album in its entirety, ending on hits Ribs and Green Light.

Lola Young

It was an emotional Glastonbury debut for Lola Young, but also delightfully odd. During her performance of her latest single Not Like That Anymore, she brought a blow-up doll that very much looked like her on stage, singing to it and posing with it. Hilarious.

JADE

The ex Little Mix star played Glastonbury for the first time, and made a hell of an impact. On the Woodsies stage, she played some of her solo tracks from her upcoming album That's Showbiz Baby! Jade also played some Little Mix faves and collaborated with Confidence Man for her song Gossip.

During her performance of her track FUFN, Jade also encouraged the crowds to chant “f**k you” to the Reform party, welfare cuts, transphobia, silencing protests, selling arms, and justifying genocide.
