Ewan McGregor has officially split from his wife of 22-years, Eve Mavrakis, according to a source close to the family.
The news broke on Sunday, shortly after pictures of the Scottish actor kissing his Fargoco-star, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, were leaked by The Sun. The source told People that McGregor and his wife, who share four daughters, had been broken up since May.
However, some fans are convinced that the split was caused by McGregor's smooch with Winstead. A by-stander who witnessed the kiss in a coffee shop, told the newspaper:"Ewan and Mary Elizabeth were there together and seemed relaxed in each other’s company…. They were deep in conversation and were there together for more than an hour.”
Could they be a new item? Neither McGregor, his wife nor Winstead have yet to comment.
