Stars including John Hurt, Bonnie Wright, Jamie Campbell Bower and Clemence Poesy were evacuated last night from the Marriott Hotel during an awards ceremony after the fire alarm went off.
The great and good of London were at the London Evening Standard British Film Awards, and were herded onto the street while the fire risk was assessed.
Downton Abbey star Elizabeth McGovern, who was wearing a gorgeous red strapless dress, was forced to borrow someone's jacket to keep her shoulders warm, while Jamie Campbell Bower took the opportunity to have a quick cigarette.
Once the hotel was deemed safe the celebs went back inside and the main event of the night, the awards started.
