What is the plot of Eternity?
Per IMDB, Eternity will see lead character Joan (Elizabeth Olsen) arrive in the afterlife, only to find that she has to choose between spending eternity with her long-term partner or her childhood sweetheart. It is directed by Irish writer and director David Freyne.
The plot line reads: “In an afterlife where souls have one week to decide where to spend eternity, Joan is faced with the impossible choice between the man she spent her life with and her first love, who died young and has waited decades for her to arrive.”
Elizabeth herself has described it as a “special rom-com” when talking to Extra TV back in February, adding: “It's real fun. It's a call-back to Billy Wilder films… I'm excited for it to come out this year.”
