As we gear up for the return of Love Island: All Stars, we've recapped the journey of Love Island and TOWIE star Elma Pazar, before she appears on the upcoming series.

Elma appeared in the Love Island villa for 6 days during series 5, which aired in 2019. She entered on day 10, the same day as I'm A Celebrity star Maura Higgins. She then coupled up with Anton, and ended up going up against Joe and Lucie in the public vote, and ultimately lost, subsequently being dumped from the Island.

Since then, Elma joined reality TV series The Only Way Is Essex, when she dated James 'Diags' Bennewith. She has also been rumoured to be romantically linked to TOWIE co-star Sammy Root, but Elma has disputed this and put it down to harmless flirtation.

She joins a stellar Love Island: All Stars line up, including Scott Thomas, Marcel Somerville, India Reynolds, Gabby Allen, Curtis Pritchard, Kaz Crossley, Olivia Hawkins, Nas Majeed, Luca Bish, Catherine Agbaje and Ronnie Vint. 2022's beloved Ekin-Su Culculoglu is rumoured to be a bombshell.

In an interview with The Mirror, Elma Pazar has opened up about whether her time dating Diags has changed her dating philosophy and the ways in which what she's looking for in a romantic match has shifted over the years, particularly since she was last in the villa.

“I've been consistently inconsistent. I don't think anything has changed the way I am and the way I date. I don't think Diags changed the way I am or the way I date,” she said.

"I think it's made me a bit more self aware of the commitment issues I had at that time of my life. It was a while ago now. I thought I wanted that with James but I actually didn't. Again, that was two years ago but I think so much happened in such a short amount of time. I don't feel like I'm the same person I was a week ago, let alone anything else."

Elma has added that she is entering the villa with a different mindset than she had last time. "I feel like I want a fella. I want to be with someone. To go and do Love Island again, a second time around, especially five years later when I'm so much older, to then go in there with no actual real of wanting someone is very stupid," she said. "I know I want to go in there and meet someone. I'm very open. If I always do what I've always done, I'll always get what I always get."

She even had quite a hardline response as to whether she'd do the deed on the show. “Having sex on the show? God forbid! I'm a woman! I don't think I would. I'd like to think I've got a bit more self control to wait for five weeks.”

Love Island: All Stars starts Monday 13 January at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
