When it comes to hair, Daisy Edgar-Jones is known for two things: channeling that French girl je ne sais quoi and her signature long fringe.
Whether it's retro curtain bangs paired with lived-in waves, or a jaw-grazing bob with balayage and a long piece-y fringe, Daisy's hairstyles are the textbook definition of cool. In fact, some might say they're almost too cool for the red carpet, where perfect coiffed updos rule – which is precisely why we love them.
Daisy's latest red carpet appearance is no exception. In fact, we'd go so far as to say it was a masterclass in how to grow out a fringe, switch up your hair colour and work a sleek new hairstyle for maximum, headline-stealing impact.
On July 8, 2024, the Normal People actress arrived for the European premiere of her new film Twisters wearing an oh-so chic brown satin corset gown with a thigh-high split. Almost as daring was her new hair colour – fresh, icy highlights that prove brunette and blonde can happily co-exist and look expensive rather than beachy.

Daisy has been ricocheting between light and dark shades for a while now. At the 2023 Met Gala, colourist David Inman at London's George Northwood salon took her collarbone-skimming strands a warm shade of golden blonde. Then at the Gucci Ancora SS24 show in Milan, she experimented with an allover linen blonde hue and a choppy lob.

Then it was back to brunette and a longer, bra-skimming boho style for this year's Glastonbury.

While Daisy kept the same long lengths at yesterday's event, there wasn't even a whisper of a textured kink or wave. Instead, she opted for a super sleek blowout – and even her grown-out bangs have now been artfully blended into the rest of her hair, making them virtually invisible.
Daisy Edgar-Jones is also seemingly going lighter and lighter as she opted for a new cooler, ashier blonde tone on the ends and on strategic strands. Proof, if any were needed, that she's a force of nature when it comes our summer beauty mood boards… and that she's headed for a full blonde moment again?
