'Cream Soda hair' is a thing, apparently. But it's actually pretty chic

Last week, the daring succulent hair trend took over our Instagram feeds, but this week, it is all about ‘Cream Soda hair’. Yes, it's a thing.

Coined by Elisabeth Moss's hairstylist Sunnie Brook, ‘Cream Soda hair’ is a more natural shade on the border between blonde and brunette and can be easily adapted for both hair colours. For those of you not quite ready to dare platinum blonde, this may be the ideal low-maintenance alternative.

Think Gigi Hadid, Jasmine Sanders and Elsa Hosk, this shade will transform your summer style as the colder weather approaches and may be the perfect transitional shade for brunettes looking to lighten, or blondes contemplating a darker style without too much of a shock. What's more, the LA-based hairstylist explains that this versatile shade also “creates a sort of glow around the face.” Sign. Us. Up.

And that’s not even the best part. It is also a great colour for blending darker roots with a lighter shade, which basically means you can delay that monthly (or bimonthly) trip to the salon AND there is less damage done to your hair from excessive dying.
