Coldplay tickets went on sale last September, selling out almost instantly.

In their tour announcement, Coldplay confirmed that they would be embarking on a 2025 UK tour – which is set to see one of the biggest bands in the world performing UK shows in 2025 to support their 10th album Moon Music.

Even better news for fans came when, following an unsurprisingly chaotic presale on September 26 2024, the band announced that they would be adding a further two dates to the UK tour.

In a post on X Coldplay said: ‘Due to phenomenal demand in the presale, ninth and tenth Wembley Stadium shows have just been announced, for 7 & 8 September, 2025.’

The ten confirmed nights at London's Wembley Stadium this summer has broken the previous record held by Taylor Swift and Take That.

Having already headlined Glastonbury this year, Chris Martin, Guy Berryman, Phil Harvey, Will Champion and Jonny Buckland gave fans a preview of two songs from the new Moon Magic album at the festival, with them performing Feels Like I’m Falling in Love and We Pray which they released in June and August respectively.

With the band set to take to the stage at Hull's Craven Park Stadium and now a further ten at London's Wembley Stadium, fans had been speculating that the rock band would be treating British audiences to tour dates after cryptic messages from Coldplay were left on trains across the UK at the beginning of September.

In an announcement, Coldplay added that 10% of the band’s proceeds from the Wembley and Hull shows will be donated to Music Venue Trust, a charity working to protect, secure and improve Grassroots music venues and upcoming artists.

What was the deal with Coldplay presale?

Fans keen to secure tickets early were given access to a presale when they ordered Coldplay's upcoming new album Moon Music.

However, if you're reading this now, we're afraid that it's too late to secure tickets in the Coldplay presale, with this having already taken place on September 26 2024 at 9am, while the presale for the additional new dates also took place at 2.30pm.

The good news, however, is that Coldplay VIP tickets are still remaining. Needless to say there are a lot of Coldplay fans here in the UK.
