Cinnamon roll makeup is the latest aesthetic to join a whole menu of food and drink inspired makeup trends. We've seen strawberry girl makeup, latte makeup, peach girl makeup and espresso makeup all take over over the past few seasons – helped a fair bit, by one beauty influencer (and entrepreneur) in particular.
Where there's an emerging viral makeup moment, Hailey Bieber can usually be counted upon to be out in front, and with a corresponding Rhode launch as an added bonus. Last month, she teased a new Peptide Lip Tint on the Rhode Instagram with a corresponding mani. Guesses ranged from brown sugar, to honey and gingerbread, when in fact, the new flavour (released to celebrate Hailey's birthday) is none other than the Cinnamon Roll Peptide Lip Tint, a shimmering spiced brown shade that launches onto the Rhode website on 22nd November for £18.

It tracks. We've noticed a wave of warmer toned brown beauty looks picking up from where latte and espresso left off.
What is cinnamon roll makeup?
As the name suggests, cinnamon roll makeup takes its inspo from the colour of this season's favourite spice: cinnamon. The mid-toned brown with orange undertones is heavy on the cosy vibes that are perfect for winter. Wear it across eyes, lips and cheeks. Elsewhere the colour has been a huge trend for nails and for hair.
How to wear cinnamon roll makeup?
We've seen the shade worn softly smoked on eyes, blended out across cheeks and with a glossy or satin finish on lips. For an extra pretty sparkle, introduce twinkling cinnamon eyeshadows and glowy cinnamon-toned highlighters. Below, we've rounded up some of our favourite ways to wear the trend.
