Are you sitting down? Good. Because we've got all the juicy details about the brand new season of Celebrity Traitors 2026 for you, and you'll barely be able to contain your excitement. The cult BBC show has all the markers of great TV: drama, intrigue, mystery, charismatic personalities (need we even mention Alan Carr?) and quotes that have been meme'd into oblivion — special shout-out to “I've just farted, Claudia” and “I'm going to have a big old breakfast and do some murdering”.

Of course, there's also the C word — yes, we're talking about Claudia Winkleman. Will she back in her full-fringed, panda-eye glory? Viewers can always rely on the presenter and comedian for her pithy one-liners, blunt farewells and, of course, her enviable fashion sense. Those kilts! Those knits! The show's styling is one of the main reasons that Clauds is a mainstay on our autumnal Pinterest inspo boards — we can't get enough.

I love The Traitors, but it has one major issue – and we need to start talking about it

Even the most beloved reality show on television holds a mirror up to our unconscious biases.

As well as Claudia's fashion genius, the Celebrity Traitors UK season one brought together a stellar cast. Huge names like Alan Carr, Celia Imrie, Stephen Fry, Paloma Faith and Charlotte Church competed to be the last one standing, but aside from the fierce competition, there were moments of genuine friendship, banter and good old fashion fun. We love it. The big question is, can they bring us an even better cast for season two?

Find out all about the host, airing date and more as we share our full guide to the upcoming season of Celebrity Traitors below.

Where is The Celebrity Traitors filmed?

Much of The Celebrity Traitors is filmed in and around a castle in Scotland, with contestants participating in roundtable eliminations, challenges, and breakfast reveals on the estate.

Filming takes place north of Inverness across several locations though predominantly in Ardross Castle. The stunning estate features over 100 acres of sprawling parkland, much of which was shown through series one and two.

The Traitors super fans might have spotted that the iconic castle was also the location for the US instalment of the series, hosted by Alan Cumming and featuring a lineup of celebrity contestants, with last season's line-up including Love Island's Ekin-Su.

When does The Celebrity Traitors 2026 air on TV?

Despite sharing the full line-up with us, the BBC's website simply reads: “The Celebrity Traitors series 2 is coming to iPlayer and BBC One later in 2026”. Not much to go off of there — however, if we put our critical thinking skills to the test we can surmise when the show might be on telly. Last year's series was available from October 8, so we're betting that season two will have an early October release date, too. Like last year, there'll be ten episodes to enjoy and will air every Wednesday and Thursday on BBC One for five weeks. If you miss those episodes, you can always catch up on iPlayer.
