Harlan Coben's Caught has finally got the adaptation treatment. Harlan Coben and Netflix really are a match made in heaven. Like us, you've probably gobbled up Safe, Fool Me Once, Missing You and The Stranger and are anxiously awaiting more mystery. Well, buckle up, because the next one is special.
The first Latin American adaptation of a Coben novel, Caught is filmed and set in Argentina. The twisty thriller follows the story of Ema Garay, an investigative journalist known for finding high-profile criminals. The case of a man who lures teenage girls through an online game become her most complicated one yet when a teenage girl goes missing midway through the investigation.
Starring Julianne Moore and Meghann Fahy, it looks to be an "incisive, sexy, and darkly funny exploration of women, power and class".

Although Harlan Coben's Caught was initially set in New Jersey, this Netflix adaptation sets the scene in Argentina.
Journalist Ema is tracking down a sexual abuser who targets teenage girls online. Things get complicated when her suspect turns out to be Leo, one of the most trusted members of his community and the founder of a teen foundation. Her search for the truth soon leads her to another mystery when a 16-year-old violinist goes missing.

Here is the main cast of the series:
Soledad Villamil plays Ema Garay, the journalist at the centre of the mystery.
“I did not feel the need to interfere all that much but I did really want Soledad Villamil for the lead from day one,” Coben said to Variety of the the actress.
Alberto Ammann, who you may recognise from Narcos, plays her suspect Leo Mercer. Juan Minujín, who appeared in The Two Popes alongside Anthony Hopkins and Jonathan Pryce, plays Marcos Brown, Leo’s friend.
Matías Recalt, who starred in Oscar-nominated film Society of the Snow, is Bruno Meller Garay, Ema’s son.
