Kendrick plays bachelorette Cheryl Bradshaw, who picks Rodney Alcala in a Blind Date style situation. What could've served as her big break now puts her in huge danger.

The movie may star Jennifer Lopez, Constance Wu, Julia Stiles, Lili Reinhart, Keke Palmer, Lizzo and Cardi B, but the story's roots are just as remarkable as its cast. It was inspired by a viral 2015 New York magazine article all about a group of strippers who scammed their rich clients out of hundreds of thousands of dollars.

The Farewell

Following the story of a family who gather together for a wedding, with a hidden agenda, The Farewell is based on the experiences of writer and director Lulu Wang. Protagonist Billi travels to China to spend time with her terminally ill grandmother Nai Nai, with the entire family keeping her prognosis a secret.
