Primavera Sound, Porto
The tickets for the Barcelona iteration of Primavera Sound may be sold out, but its quieter younger sister in Porto still has tickets available. Don't sleep on it. Past headliners have included Lana Del Rey, Pulp and SZA, with this year's line-up featuring Jamie XX, Haim and Beach House.

Sziget Festival
Based on a leafy island in Budapest and consisting of 60 stages, Sziget is pretty damn epic. It even boasts party boats and and amusement parks, and has hosted talent such as Post Malone, A$AP Rocky, Chappell Roan and Charli XCX.

Hideout Festival
Described as a “Croatian paradise of house and techno's biggest names” Hideout is based in Zrce, Croatia on the island of Pag – and has sold out every year since it launched in 2011.

Detour Discotheque
Shifting locations every year, Detour Discotheque is dubbed the world's most remote disco. It has rocked the world of festival goers in Iceland, Scotland and Switzerland and will be based in Italy's Puglia this year. Get your tickets now, 'cos it's an intimate one – only 300 tickets are available.

Coachella
Have the ultimate festival experience by making the pilgrimage to Coachella – headliners this year for the celeb-studded event include Lady Gaga, Green Day, Post Malone and Travis Scott.

Open’er Festival
Located an abandoned airstrip near the Polish town of Gdynia, Open'er has boasted incredible headliners such as the likes of LCD Soundsystem, Kendrick Lamar and Dua Lipa. This year will see Gracie Abrams, Linkin Park, FKA Twigs and many more perform.

Rock en Seine
In the most gorgeous setting, Paris' Domaine Nationale de Saint-Cloud, Rock en Seine is the French festival to go to. Queens of The Stone Age, Jamie XX and Chappell Roan are set to play this year.

Sónar Barcelona
A fantastic event aimed at both music and technology lovers, based in two urban fairgrounds in Barcelona: Fira Montjuïc and Fira Gran Via.

Exit Festival
Based in Serbian city Novi Sad, and more specifically its hilltop Petrovaradin Fortress, Exit is pretty unique. It also was first founded as a pro-democracy student protest movement back in 2000.

C2C Festival
Visit Turin during its Contemporary Art Week for C2C, a festival that has been hosting avant-pop parties in industrial spaces for two decades.
Dates: 30 October – 2 November 2025
Paredes de Coura
Travel to a valley just outside Porto for a small but strong festival experience, with Lola Young, Vampire Weekend and Franz Ferdinand headlining this year.

Roskilde
An big date in the Danish cultural diary, festival goers enjoy top musical talent as well as art installations and other creative performances. Olivia Rodrigo, Stormzy and Fontaines D.C will top the bill this year.
