The music played at catwalk shows is often an indication of what cool girls will be playing on their iPods the following season. Christopher Kane was one of the first to play Lana Del Rey to soundtrack his catwalk show, and quickly she became the sound of 2011 - her haunting vocals now ubiquitous.
The same success could be predicted of Beau - two childhood best friends, Heather Boo and Emma Rose, who performed after Chloe's most recent show. Their debut album, That Thing Reality, is out on Monday 11 March.
To hear their music is like being transported back to the 60s, sitting on am East Coast beach listening to folk-infused, dreamy acoustics. They should be on a Sofia Coppola soundtrack; such is their atmospheric, emotive, wistful folk-rock. Their look? A grungy take on the 60s, yet with a feminine appeal - all long, wavy hair and vintage floaty dresses. They are a Chloe campaign waiting to happen.
The pair have been compared to Stevie Nicks and Lana Del Rey, but this two piece have an energy that perhaps only comes from hanging out with your best friend as a job.
Here's all you need to know about 2016's most dreamy band:
Both their families were big into music. "My father had an old jukebox and he'd always play Elvis and Little Richard," said Emma Rose. "He collected records and makes mix tapes. He'd leave them by my bedside. He always had me singing Native New Yorker by Donna Summers when I was 10.
"Music has always been a big part of my inner happiness," adds Boo. "I was always performing and dancing and singing."
Rose and Boo went to elementary school together. "Working with best friend - it's like having the taste of home with you always," said Boo. "Even in the cab on the way here, I was like I miss NY and she got it straight away."
"We decided one day after school that we'd be in a band when we were 12 or 13," says Rose. "We went to my house and told my mum that we wanted to be musicians and an hour later she came back with two guitars. That was one of the best things she ever did for me."
"But we're into contemporary music too," says Rose. "I only just started listening to Grimes recently and she's amazing."
"What we're trying to say is no matter how little you have you can always achieve greatness," says Boo. "Even if you don't believe in yourself, anything is possible."
"It's a simple name, but it had a masculine touch to it," said Rose. "It could also be translated to beautiful. It's androgynous and so seemed modern."
"It's about coming of age and working out who you want to be and finalising your inner self," said Boo. "And also heartbreak and love. It's our story - it's hyper personal. None of its removed."
"I just think fuck him," says Boo. "He's amazing - I mean a song came from it. It's a great song, the rest doesn't matter. Every time I sing it, it takes me back to the song I wrote but it gets easier. Every performance is another chance to redo it. It's good practice for inner strength."
"Sometimes I really want to wear shorts and sneakers because that's how I feel," said Boo. "Other times it's fun to dress up and put on a show, while staying true to ourself. We never wear anything because we're told it's cool. We always wear things that we love and that have meaning, that have been worn by other people."
"The Chloe show so exciting, we were treated like princesses," said Rose. "We weren't used to that level of accommodation. That was some good silk."
"But the dream is already happening," said Rose. "It'd be nice to go home after a long adventure of touring and reflect on it all."
"I'm afraid of fame," said Rose. "We want our music to be heard by as many people as possible, but I don't have a goal. I don't need to be Beyonce to feel satisfied."
Beau release their debut album, That Thing Reality, on Friday 11 March. Their new single, Animal Kingdom, is out now.
