You're probably already familiar with Sharon Horgan. If not (where have you been?), her latest series, Bad Sisters, will quickly get you acquainted.
In case you need reminding, Sharon created and starred in Catastrophe opposite Rob Delaney; co-wrote Motherland; and has a BAFTA Award-winning production company, Merman, which she runs with Clelia Mountford.
Bad Sisters is part of a deal between Sharon and Apple TV+ and will be produced by her own production company. In an interview with Variety, Sharon opened up about her love of acting saying, “I love it. It’s scary because there’s nowhere to hide. You have to trust your decision-making process.”
She admitted it was "really, really hard".

Yep, we have a feeling this is gonna be good. Here's everything we know (so far) about Apple TV+'s Bad Sisters:
What will Bad Sisters be about?
Based on the Belgian series Clan, a press release described Bad Sisters as a “delicious blend of both dark comedy and thriller, adding that it ”follows the lives of the Garvey sisters bound together by the premature death of their parents and a promise to always protect one another."
Who will star in Bad Sisters?
The sisters will be played by Sharon (obvs), as well as Anne-Marie Duff (Suffragette, The Salisbury Poisonings), Eva Birthistle (The Last Kingdom), Sarah Greene (Dublin Murders) and Eve Hewson (The Luminaries).
There's also been a highly-impressive supporting cast confirmed, including, Claes Bang (Dracula), Brian Gleeson (Peaky Blinders), Daryl McCormack (Peaky Blinders), Assaad Bouab (The Pursuit of Love) and newcomer Saise Quinn.
When will Bad Sisters be released?
All we know is that it's due for release in 2022. We'll keep you posted when the exact date is confirmed.
Is there a trailer for Bad Sisters?
We'll have to wait a teensy bit longer for a trailer, but seeing as it's post-production and airing in 2022, we can expect it to arrive soon.
As someone with a bumpy nose, brown skin, and hair on my arms, I saw no representation of realistic brown bodies until recently.
