Film festival season is treating Anne Hathaway very well.
Attending the premiere of her rom-com She Came to Me at the Berlin International Film Festival on February 16, the 40-year-old actor wore a sheer mesh Valentino gown with leather bowties over a nude bodysuit. She paired the daring dress with a set of opera gloves and black pumps, which was exactly how the look was styled on the runway, minus the mesh turtleneck detail and tulle hat.
Instead, Hathaway wore her hair up in an Audrey Hepburn-esque updo with her face-framing fringe kept loose and a particularly glowy makeup look.
Dominatrix, but make it cosy.

Hathaway was joined on the red carpet by jury president Kristen Stewart, who dressed in an intricate floral Chanel gown with a whimsical bow-tie-inspired choker.
She Came to Me stars Peter Dinklage (Game of Thrones) as a celebrity composer who sought a way out of writer's block by marrying his therapist (Anne Hathaway). Five years later, he's back where he started.
Hours ahead of the premiere, Hathaway jumped on the hooded dress bandwagon in a complex black Alaïa look. For this photocall, Hathaway left her hair down and topped the ensemble off with sculptural horse heels by the designer and Bvlgari rings.
“I think many kinds of styles work when you embrace your inner confidence to pull it off,” stylist Erin Walsh recently told British Vogue of the Devil Wears Prada star's "incidentally fabulous" red-carpet rebrand. “Annie is literally glowing. That doesn’t just come from clothes. It comes through stepping into your potential and embracing possibility.”
Walsh continued, “We have so much fun with fashion and aren’t afraid to experiment…. It’s about achieving that balance of effortless cool without rules."
