Modern soul is her USP and her voice is a rich, powerful medley - the kind that never goes out of fashion. There will always be reason for languid soulful female vocals; Triana's music is a happy mix of feeling both familiar and distinctive.

"I wrote That's Alright With Me at a point when I was feeling quite reflective, I wanted to write something universal and also hopefully something that people could relate to," she said. "I was thinking about times of struggle and how the love of amazing people around me got me through. I guess it's a All You Need Is Love kind of song!"

Hailing from South East London, Triana played at a packed-out London's Village Underground last year and is next to play at London's Koko on 17 November. Tickets go on show at 11am on 17 Friday here. Get your tickets before everyone else makes a beeline.
