Amanda Bynes has broken her silence after enrolling in the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in California, and posted her first message to fans in months.
The actress took to Twitter to tell the world she's doing better on Friday, writing: "Hi everyone! I'm busy studying at @FIDM but I want to say I love you to my fans! Xoxo Amanda."
Amanda has been living under her parents' care in California following her mental health problems of last year. The former child star and Easy A actress completed three months of psychiatric treatment for both schizophrenia and bipolar disorder in December, and has been pictured out and about cutting a much healthier figure of late - either enjoying a stroll with her folks or walking her dog.
The move marks a big step forward for the starlet, whose adult career has been plagued by trouble and controversy. After a DUI arrest, an incident which involved her throwing a bong out of the window of her NYC apartment and a worrying series of crude Tweets about rap star Drake - Amanda finally appears to be making a full recovery, and is on track for a happy, healthy existence.
