As the sun slowly but surely begins to shine on the nation, we've got our sights set firmly on summer's festivities, including Reading and Leeds Festival 2026 and its megawatt lineup – including Charli XCX, Florence and the Machine and Raye. And they've just announced even more exciting details. Here's everything you need to know about the two festivals below:
When is Reading and Leeds Festival 2026 and who are the headliners?
Set to kick off on the Bank Holiday weekend of Thursday 27 – Sunday 30 August 2026 at Little John’s Farm in Reading and Bramham Park in Leeds, Reading and Leeds Festival 2026 has officially announced its headliners — and it's looking set to be one of the best line-ups ever (in our opinion, anyway).
Posting on Instagram, the official festival poster was revealed last December, featuring the six headliners: Charli XCX, Chase & Status, Dave, Florence & the Machine, Fontaines D.C. and Raye.

As well as the stellar headline acts, there's a roster of exciting talent packing out the stages, too. JADE, Kneecap, Skye Newman, and Role Model are among the acts who've been officially announced. Not enough to tempt you? Well, the festival has also just announced a fresh batch of more than 60 new artists on the lineup, from Loyle Carner and Holly Humberstone to Maisie Peters and Declan McKenna. Talk about bang for your buck.
You might notice a running theme with this year's acts — they're all British and Irish. It's the first time in 25 years that this has been the case, say organisers. It might also be your only chance to catch Charli XCX at a festival this year, as Reading and Leeds Festival 2026 are currently her only festival shows scheduled.
How to get tickets for Reading and Leeds Festival 2026
Music fans are able to bag a ticket tight now on the festivals' official website. Full camping weekend tickets cost £325, while non-camping tickets cost £295. Don't have the cash right now? There's also an option to put down a £20 deposit and pay the rest in three instalments, so you don't blow your payday check all in one go.
With so many exciting acts already lined up, we can't wait to see who else is added to the bill. Watch this space…
"Actually Romantic," a song on Swift's Life of a Showgirl album, has certainly caused some drama.
