Before joining the team in April 2023, she worked as an editor, journalist, and content strategist for a variety of health and wellness brands, including Shape, Women's Health, Nike, Health, and more. She holds a personal training certificate through the American Council on Exercise (ACE) as a senior fitness specialist and is passionate about conveying complicated, jargon-filled medical content in a conversational, human-oriented way. Julia is also an amateur powerlifter, avid hiker, and proud cat mom to Jeeves, her long-haired tuxedo kitty.
