Zoella has been named the most powerful YouTube star in Britain
Zoe Sugg (aka Zoella) has just been named the most powerful social media star in Britain, according to a new list.
The 26-year-old, who found fame after posting make-up tutorials and advice videos on YouTube, is officially the most powerful (Mwoohahaha?) vlogger in Britain according to the research by Fizziology.
Zoella now has 11.6 million YouTube subscribers, 7.64 million Twitter followers and 10.5 million on Instagram.
In addition, Zoella has become the fastest-selling debut author, with her debut autobiographical novel Girl Online selling 78,000 copies in its first week.
Her boyfriend Alfie Deyes, who she lives with in Brighton, came 10th on the list. We hope Zoella has a little tease about that.
The research firm based their finding on multiple factors including social reach, average engagement across social platforms, and political, cultural and social influence.
