The H&M and Zara Larsson colab drops today! Here's 7 things you didn't know about the brand's new star
Who is the girl behind the amazing voice that sings Lush, It ain't my fault and most recently Symphony? Her songs are constantly playing on the radio, but how much do you really know about Zara Larsson?
You've probably already heard her name, her songs, and maybe even heard about the "small" fact (sarcastic tone) that she is collaborating with H&M on her own curated collection. But here's a little more that maybe you didn't know:
Zara is Swedish and started her singing career on the telly:
Zara was born in Sweden, where she started her career before taking on the world. At only 10-years-old, she won the 2008 season of the TV show Talang, the Swedish version of Britain's Got Talent. The performance that earned her the title was a rendition of Celine Dion’s ‘My Heart Will Go On’.

On the phone with Zara, she couldn't stop laughing when we said that her and H&M are the most famous Swedish exports for us to obsess over: “That’s funny. It’s just great, I don’t know if that is true but it sounds good”.
Zara has a sister and she is also a singer!

Nope, they are not twins, but they do share the same career path. Both of the sisters are musicians, and apparently inseparable. When we asked Zara if she would be hitting any festivals this summer, she said: "It doesn’t matter where I’d go I would take my sister".

We also asked her if she had any advice she would pass on to Hanna, Zara laughed and said: “I wouldn’t give her advice, she would never take my advice".

Zara is taking the music industry by storm at only 19-years-old, so when we asked her about self-belief and her support system to handle the sudden fame and all the hard work it takes to make it big:
“Of course you gotta believe in yourself. My family is very supportive, my friends are very supportive and I’m definitely not alone, but I do believe in myself a lot. If I didn’t believe in me, then what’s the point of me doing it?”
She might crack Hollywood next

Zara has done telly (with Talang), music and now fashion - so is the next step Hollywood? In our interview, she said she is totally keen to take on the big screen someday:
"I would like to do that I think that would be super super fun. I love drama, I would want it to be a really good movie with a really good script. I’m not into some corny shit".

When we asked Zara about what was the inspiration behind the design of the pieces she said:
"I think [it comes] just from me, this collection is not really inspired by anything in particular. I think the collection is very sporty, very feminine, pretty pink ... I love pink so I wanted to do pink, then make it cool” - Seems like it is all about personal style, and it turned out great.
She's on course to get her first UK number one
Symphony, her song with Clean Bandit was released five weeks ago, and it's looking like it might surpass Ed Sheeran's Shape Of You for No.1 glory.
Ed Sheeran has written a song with her
Ed Sheeran described working with Zara and was impressed by her talent, saying she “just nailed it the first time,” while they were recording in the studio together.
