The weekend lays ahead of us, two glorious days when you can wear whatever you like. But sometimes we all need a little style inspiration.

Each week, we'll share our picks of 10 pieces that will ensure you look chic all weekend - whether you're going our or staying in. This time of year is particularly difficult in deciding what to wear - British springtime comes with warm sunshine tempered with unpredictable showers and then a reliable dip in temperature.

Our advice? If you haven't bought a bomber jacket yet, it' time to do so - perfect lightweight outerwear for in between seasons. Layer school teacher-style skirts with jersey sweaters and Converse for a part Gucci-part Grease vibe. Jumpsuits are also a good option - layer over a breton or white T-shirt to stay warm. We're also very into blush pink at the moment (so spring-like) particularly in boyish styles like the bomber and oversized jumper.
