Vanessa Hudgens Gets A Wardrobe Overhaul

Vanessa's a former teen queen who's made the successful leap to bonafide star (see also: her new film The Frozen Ground), so we decided to see how her wardrobe's shifted from sweet and girly to boho babe and finally full-on glamazon.
Rex FeaturesBaby Blue
In her early days, Vanessa Hudgens embraced her girly side. And whilst a ruffly sky blue chiffon dress may seem miles away from the actress' style today, in 2004 there was still evidence of her boho tendencies: note the daisy in her hair.
Rex Features...Made For Walking
There's really no good reason to pair white cowboy boots and fishnet tights with green satin, but wear it she did, with a big smile.
We'll let V-Hudge off the hook, this was after all, early days (a screening of the first High School Musical film), but let's see where she could possibly go from here...
Rex FeaturesStreet Smart?
It's city slick (dog-printed jumper, studded belt and denim) on top... And beach down below? There were still some kinks to iron out in 2006, but at least Vanessa is working it with a smile in NY.

Later that same year, Vanessa turned up the heat in a ruched champagne gown. She's aiming for a more mature appeal, but did she nail it?

Hair? Yes! Kimono? Eh...
Vanessa's Teen Vogue party look leaves something to be desired (although we'll excuse those leggings, it was 2006), but her confidence carries this outing.

At the Teen Choice Awards in 2008, the brunette beauty is working a seriously smart halterneck with a tiered skirt.
This was most definitely a departure from her development as the ultimate haute hippie, but it suited her perfectly, no?
In Her Stride
That's more like it! The High School musical alum really started to come into her own by the spring of 2009. Here she opted for a blouson floral print dress with violet heels and simple, wavy locks.
