If, like us, you're totally hooked on ITV2's show and feel a pang of disappointment when it's over and count down the hours until it's back on, you'll be ecstatic to know you can get your fix from the US version very soon.

America's version of the world-famous show will stream on CBS' on July 9 and judging by the cast, which we've been treated to a first look at, it's going to fill the void that the UK version will leave behind when it ends.

Host Arielle Vandenberg promises in a preview trailer, "It's going to be one hot summer," and the cast is packed with models, college students and high-flying advertising execs.

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter ahead of Love Island's U.S. launch, ITV America chief creative officer and executive producer David Eilenberg said of the cast: "We have cast, most of all, on sincerity of intent. No matter what other attributes somebody has, they have to have some degree of really wanting love, a connection, an adventure and something that can be transformational for their lives. Once you see that the person is in it for the reasons that drive the show, then you're interested in the diversity of characters, their backgrounds and viewpoints," Eilenberg said of season one's cast, which features men and women of various ethnicities. "It makes it that much more interesting when you have a really wide range of people coming in from all over."
