Trophy jackets: A saviour for all lazy party girls

Party season is all about day-to-night style, which is why we're fans of trophy jackets.

It's the answer to lazy girl party prayers - one easy piece that you can throw over jeans, dresses, trousers and skirts that will instantly add some drama and glamour to your look. There's no need to faff around in the office toilet as you change into your Christmas party outfit; just whack on your jazzy jacket, be it embroidered, embellished or printed, and you're good to go.

There's also something rather insouciant and carefree about teaming daywear with something so glamorous - it's the sort of thing Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne are keen on, the party season equivalent of wearing your summer parka over pretty white dresses.
