THIS is the only nail polish the Queen will wear (& has for 30 years)
The Queen famously loves to experiment with colour in her wardrobe, but it seems she prefers to keep things a little more understated when it comes to nails.
A report by Insider claims the Queen has been wearing Essie's sheer pink shade 'Ballet Slippers' for nearly thirty years now. Indeed, Essie's website states Her Royal Highness' hairdresser wrote to Essie in 1989 to request a bottle of the only polish she would wear.
We think it's the perfect shade for Her Majesty, who is of course, the epitome of tradition, elegance and sophistication. The news did however make us wonder what she would look like if she started branching out and trying some other shades and styles.

One thing's for sure, Ballet Slippers will never be discontinued now it's been given the royal seal of approval.
