Our favourite street style moments at New York Fashion Week

After couture week came menswear, and - as they say - behind every well-dressed man is a stylish woman. (Do they say that? We're going to.) So, naturally, next came womenswear. And not a moment too soon.

But while there has already been bags of #inspo making its way down the runway this week thanks to months of hard graft behind-the-scenes, fashion designers are not the only ones who have been putting in the hours.

The street style set have spent the last few weeks putting their fashion month wardrobe together.

A trickier task than it sounds, many of these fashion week attendees attend up to six shows a day - changing their outfit each time - before attending two or three events in the evening. This lasts for 27 days and spans four different countries, so squishy airplane outfits also need to be crammed into that case.
