This genius beauty tutorial will teach you how to nail rose gold makeup in five minutes

Rose gold is hands down the biggest beauty trend we've seen this year and tbh, it's little wonder why. The soft metallic trends gives an otherwise pretty pink shade a bit of a bite, plus it's universally flattering across all skin tones.

In celebration of the hue, GLAMOUR called upon celebrity makeup artist and Smashbox Lip Editor in Chief, Vlada Haggerty, to reveal her ultimate guide to wearing the look (as well as an insight into some of her signature lip art, obvs).

Vlada's top tips for wearing rose gold:

1. More is more!
"I love a monochromatic look so love to use the same shade all over the face - eyes, lips, cheeks, and even bringing it down to the collar bone and arms."
Layer, highlight, blend; you can't go wrong with rose gold. Vlada recommends a rosy smoky eye, iridescent gold highlights on the apples of cheeks and dusting the collar bone and forearms with a touch of highlighter to tie the whole look together.

2. Offset it with a kick-ass lip colour.
"I love black lipstick and I wear it all the time. I find it so empowering and rock'n'roll!"
Switch up your rose gold look with an edgy lip colour (opt for vampy reds, black or navy to really make a statement) and why not try your hand at some lip art, too?

3. Mix your textures.
