Rihanna is going wild for this latest nail-art trend that’s been dubbed the new French manicure

If you’ve not heard of the marble manicure, listen up. Everyone is calling it the cooler, younger cousin of the French manicure. Yes, it probably reminds you of all those dreamy kitchen tops you’ve spent the last year pinning and it turns out that marbling looks EVEN BETTER as nail art.

If you’re a pale and go kinda girl, you can still work that but there is way more fun to be had, as Rihanna just showed us.

Nail marbling means you can go as mad and fun as you want, mixing up whatever colours take your fancy with the finished look resembling a soothing crystal effect. First it was rose quartz nails that we all went mad for but Rihanna just flaunted a fresh jade marbled shade and we are officially obsessed.

London manicurist Jenny Longworth was behind the creation, inspired by jade stones that are said to protect and support love energy, balance and harmony, posting on Instagram: “Still obsessing over these hand painted jade effect nails for @badgalriri 💚🐉🐲💶🧪💚 Could this look be this year’s take on the marble trend??”

Longworth created RiRi's tips by hand-painting smudgy shades of blue, white, and green to get this soft-marble effect creating a perfect summery, eye-catching nail that has her fans wanting to recreate the look themselves.
