This clever trick helps Priyanka Chopra avoid a shiny face during the summer months
We never thought we'd say it, summer in the UK is actually giving us summer. Heat, blue skies, the full works. We're not used to this and it's stressing us out.
As much as we're loving this unprecedented weather, one slight chore is having to touch up your makeup throughout the day. Hey, there are some great primers and setting sprays out there, but nothing can defeat the power of the sun. Major oily face alert.
But actress, activist and Hollywood queen, Priyanka Chopra, just might have the solution to this. We can trust her because she always looks gorg, right? And it might just be the simplest skincare hack we've heard.
Speaking to Harper's Bazaar in a behind-the-scenes video, Chopra's make-up artist Pati Dubroff revealed her key technique for avoiding sweaty shiny skin:
"Moisturiser is important, but you don't put it everywhere. You don't want a shiny centre, so moisturiser on the perimeter of the face. Hydration in the areas where you want the glowiness."
So after years of lapping on the moisturiser to get that hydrated, balanced, skin - turns out the way to prevent being a hot mess is by only applying it to the perimeters of your face.
Dubroff then recommends applying a mattifying primer to the centre of your face where you're more likely to get sweaty and oily- but don't use too much powder because powder is "so ageing." Well that's us told.

Here are our picks of the best primers in town to avoid that oily look:
