Tom Daley
Champion diver Tom Daley had the Olympic rings tattooed on his upper arm soon after he scooped a bronze medal at the London Olympics! His mum is rumoured to have given him a tattoo voucher for his 18th birthday. Aww.
Allison Conte
Brazilian beach volleyball player Allison Conte Ceruitti was spotted showing off his tattoo of a mammoth.
Federica Pellegrini
The gorgeous Italian swimmer is said to have a total of nine tattoos! She is pictured here with a long illegible sentence scribbled across her side. However she is reluctant to reveal what it says stating, “It’s a very long sentence and I assure you that is not dedicated to anyone…I can tell you that sentence is me.” Interesting…
Anthony Ervin
It’s no surprise that party animal and pro swimmer Anthony Ervin has collected up a few tattoos, which he sees as a way to reclaim his body after so much swimming. He revealed: “I was giving myself new skin. I wanted to re-create myself.”
Missy Franklin
Competition swimmer Missy Franklin had the Olympic rings tattooed on her hip when she was just 17 - but revealed that this would be her ‘one and only’ tattoo.

Micheal Phelps
Olympic gold-medalist Micheal Phelps has also joined the tribe of champions with a tattoo of the Olympic rings, which he has adorned on his (super-toned) right hipbone. He also has the letter ‘M’ on his left hipbone, which stands for Maryland, (his home state).
Bradley Wiggins
Self-confessed mod and Olympic cyclist Sir Bradley Wiggins shares the same tattooist as David Beckham and plans to have the whole top half of his body covered. He also had a knight inked on his chest, to commemorate his knighthood (obvs).
Louis Smith
British gymnast Louis Smith had angel wings inked on his back, and the words ‘rest in peace nan, missing you’ as a tribute to his late grandmother.
Pavel Maslak
The Czech swimmer Pavel Maslak sports an imposing tattoo of a dragon on his upper back.
Andrew Willis
English swimmer Andrew Willis has a tattoo of a quote from the Roman poet Virgil inscribed on his upper back, which translates as “they can because they think they can”.
Brady Ellison
Determined archery champion Brady Ellison has the Olympic rings tattooed on his right arm, and the encouraging words of a former coach on the inside of each wrist…’Keep driving.’
Clemens Doppler
Austrian beach volleyball player Clemens Doppler has adorned his tanned and toned arm with an arty sleeve.
